We wanted somewhere quiet, somewhere far away from towns, streetlights, and people. One of my friends suggested a forest he’d been to once with his uncle when he was younger. According to him, it was huge, rarely visited, and perfect for camping. That should have been the first warning. We arrived late in the afte
