I completely understand that what’s happening in the Middle East is very serious and emotional for many people, and I respect why you might feel strongly about it. But I hope you can also understand that I’m just one person. I don’t control what governments decide to do, and being American doesn’t mean I support everything my country does. I care about people and innocent lives everywhere
