This is why you should never use too much silicone on an engine. Here we have a Toyota Yaris with a 2NZ engine. The owner complained about engine noise and low oil pressure. After opening the engine, we discovered the real problem. The previous mechanic used too much silicone during assembly. All these silicone pieces you see here broke loose inside the engine. They travelled through the oil system and blocked the oil strainer, restricting oil flow. With poor oil supply, the engine bearings star
