Knowledge of the laws of nature is crucial for developing technology because technology reduces environmental constraints on humans. However, due to the lack of natural laws and technology, humans in their early stages (primitive humans) were deeply influenced by nature. They adapted to the dictates of nature. This is because the level of technology was very low and the stage of human social development was also primitive
