Gravity is one of the oldest forces we have ever tried to understand. It has been described with remarkable precision—predicting the motion of planets, the fall of objects, the curvature of space itself. And yet, beneath this apparent certainty, something remains unresolved. At the extremes—inside black holes, at the birth of the universe—the equations begin to falter.
