In this video, I’m presenting one of my recent projects — vsam Migrator. vsam [excited] Migrator is a comprehensive solution designed to simplify and automate the migration of vsam datasets into modern relational database systems. It generates CSV files and SQL DDL queries directly from EBCDIC-encoded vsam files and their corresponding copybooks, ensuring data integrity while significantly reducing migration time and risk.
