Grades have always been the main way schools measure how well a student is doing, but they shouldn’t be the only way to show understanding. They might give a quick idea of performance, but they don’t really show everything a student knows or what they’re actually capable of. Because of this, grades can be kind of misleading and don’t always reflect true learning.
