One societal factor addressed in Jordan Peele’s Get Out is white liberalism and the white saviour complex in modern day America. An example of this is in the police stop scene where, Rose, a white millennial woman is driving and hits a deer, she is stopped by police who then question her black boyfriend despite him not being the one driving.
