Once at least one battery is destroyed, Antares secures the beach and moves further inland. The second phase takes place in swampy terrain where movement is limited. A damaged bridge becomes the safest crossing point, but it also exposes attackers to enemy fire. The surrounding marsh is dangerous, with crocodiles adding risk for anyone who avoids the bridge. This part shows Vega trying to slow the invasion using natural terrain. After crossing, Antares reaches a small Vegan town slash barracks.
