When reviewing the R365 report, each sales value must first be classified as either a debit or a credit, as this determines how it impacts the Sales Variance calculation. A debit represents a positive sales contribution. This means the amount is increasing the total sales value reported in Restaurant365, so it should be added to the Sales Variance computation. A credit, on the other hand, represents a reduction or reversal of sales. This may occur due to refunds, adjustments, or corrections. B
