The red eye blinked. Not just a reflection. A blink. My stomach dropped. My hands shook. I realized… it wasn’t just a photo. It was alive. ....... I needed answers. I went to the street in the photo. When I arrived… nothing. No streetlights. No building. No window. Just an empty lot. Shadows moved wrong. Pavement reflected faint red glints. Tiny movements I couldn’t explain. And I could feel it.
