When someone opens their home to a stranger in need, that somehow leads to danger for themselves, their family or even the wider community. When we hear these things, the heart can feel torn. Does this mean we should close our doors? And that we should close our hearts? I believe it is not to close or open in extremes, but to learn to see more clearly. In a world where each person carries unseen histories, quiet wounds, and heavy experiences, actions can sometimes unfold in ways that are hu
