Forecasting tells you when the free, clean energy is coming. Smart energy management is what you actually do with that information. Many tasks on a working farm are flexible — they don’t have to happen at a fixed time. Does the electric tractor or farm vehicle need charging right now, or can it wait until the solar peak at 2 pm?
