No warnings, no second chances. So obviously, nobody wanted to risk it. But when I got my first essay back, something felt… off. The feedback wasn’t normal teacher feedback. It was weirdly polished. Like every sentence sounded perfect, almost robotic. And she kept using these long dashes—like everywhere.
