I got suspicious of my teacher on literally the second assignment of the year. On the first day, she made it super clear—if anyone used AI for essays, it was an automatic zero and a referral. No warnings, no second chances. So obviously, nobody wanted to risk it. But when I got my first essay back, something felt… off. The feedback wasn’t normal teacher feedback. It was weirdly polished. Like every sentence sounded perfect, almost robotic. And she kept using these long dashes—like everywhere.
