“The next day, Liza and Carl made their way to The Hakonay Open-Air Museum — Japan’s first outdoor art park. Spread across the rolling slopes of the Hakonay mountains, the museum features around 120 permanent sculptures by world-renowned artists, each set against the lush, mountainous landscape. It was raining, but that didn’t stop them. Umbrellas in hand, they wandered between sculptures, pausing to admire the art and the misty scenery.
