Its signal crosses cracked earth, dead grass, a horizon that goes on forever. A cheerful jingle plays. Too bright for this landscape. The announcer's voice sounds both professional and slightly hollow, the way voices do when they've been reading the same copy for three years. RADIO ANNOUNCER (V.O.) Good morning, Atomic City.
