The five of them set out onto the water — Tom piloting the boat, Skyler, Alonso, and John accompanying them. When they had traveled far enough out that land was barely visible in any direction, Skyler and John told Tom there was something downstairs they wanted to show him. Tom followed them down into the bedroom. Above in the kitchen, Alonso and Jackie were talking when suddenly a violent commotion erupted from below. Alonso knew exactly what it was — Skyler and John were attacking Tom. That wa
