Sophie looked at him for a moment longer, her expression thoughtful and uneasy. Then she turned her eyes back toward the engine area, clearly still concerned. The boat kept moving across the open sea, but the mood had changed. It didn’t feel like a simple cruise anymore. Something subtle but important had shifted.
