We’ve talked about forecasting and smart energy management in theory. Now let’s see what this actually looks like on a real working farm. Cononsyth Farms in Scotland is a great example. They have an impressive renewable setup: 350 kilowatts of solar and 330 kilowatts of wind. Together these systems generate hundreds of thousands of kilowatt-hours of clean energy every year — often more than enough to cover a large portion of the farm’s needs on paper. Yet, despite all that generation, they were
