In America, the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) protects an employee's right to discuss work-related issues—such as pay and working conditions—with colleagues on social media. However, this protection has limits. The NLRA does not cover posts that are offensive, intentionally false, or unrelated to work conditions, like posts that simply criticize a company's products.
