What’s the funniest excuse you’ve given a cop that completely backfired? Last Saturday I was driving to a concert with my friends Alex and Max. I was doing 90 in a 60 because Max kept saying the exit was right there. It wasn’t. Blue lights flash, my stomach drops. Officer Cooper walks up, flashlight in my face. “License and registration. You were doing 90 in a 60.” I’m already done. Alex leans forward and whispers, “Say something or we’re walking.” So I panic and say the dumbest thing possible.
