PART 2: The Voice The second I answered… I regretted it. No sound. No “hello.” Just silence. Then… Breathing. But not normal breathing. It sounded… wrong. Like something pretending to breathe. I couldn’t even speak. I just sat there… listening. Then suddenly— It stopped. Dead silence. And then… A voice whispered: "You shouldn’t have picked up." I felt my stomach drop.
