Why DuckLake Matters Now Let’s summarize what we’ve discussed and why we think you should continue this journey with us. We talked about the current lakehouses and the challenges their architecture poses, including high latency and the small file problem. We also illustra‐ ted the complexity of getting their lakehouses up and running, followed by DuckLake needing literally just 2 lines of SQL. DuckLake doesn’t need a cluster of computers, nor the JVM - just pip install duckdb and you are off to
