Spodzielny dźwięk

The elevator in the old apartment block never reached the 13th floor. At least, that’s what the residents said. Kamil had just moved in. Cheap rent, good location—he didn’t care about stupid rumors. The building only had 12 floors anyway. The button for 13 didn’t even exist. Or so he thought. On his third night, coming home late, he stepped into the elevator. The fluorescent light flickered as the doors slid shut. He pressed “7”. The elevator didn’t move. Instead, a soft click came from t
