When the prophet Jeremiah was thrown into a pit and left to die, no one helped him.....not the leaders....not the people. But Ebed-Melech, a foreigner, chose to act. He went to the king and risked his life to rescue him. Because of his courage, Jeremiah was saved. And later, God promised to protect Ebed-Melech for what he did. Maybe being known by God… matters more than being known by people.”
