1 8. AI & work § Will AI cause mass unemployment? § Is the quality of work deteriorating because of AI? Unemployment is not yet a significant issue for students: they typically have at most a relatively small student job. Still, students also fear the potential effects of AI on the job market; perhaps they are qualifying for a job that will no longer exist in the future. Or, if they are going to work in a field like computer science or AI, they might contribute to the unemployment of oth
