When opening the CentriCult Unit lid, always guide the lid upward using both hands. The operator should accompany the lid throughout the entire opening motion to prevent the lid from smashing into the tubing set. Controlled movement protects the tubing set and prevents unnecessary strain on the CCU hinge mechanism.
