In Islam, Hell is known as Jahannam — a place of punishment prepared for those who reject faith and persist in evil. The concept of Jahannam is mentioned repeatedly in the Qur’an and described in powerful and vivid detail. According to the Qur’an, Allah created both Paradise and Hell as part of the divine system of justice. While Paradise is a reward for righteousness, Jahannam is a consequence for disbelief, hypocrisy, oppression, and corruption. The Qur’an describes Hell as a place of intens
