Why is Immortal so useless? If you watch Invincible, you know the Immortal has lived for thousands of years, fought in countless historical wars, and was even Abraham Lincoln. But despite all of his centuries of combat experience, his main role in the story is basically just getting brutally murdered over and over again. So, why does he keep taking such massive L's? From a writing standpoint, he suffers from the Worf Effect. Because he is canonically Earth's strongest native defender, having Omn
