The cheetah is the fastest land animal on Earth. But it is not the strongest, because it can’t attack bigger animals. Cheetahs can run as fast as one hundred and twenty kilometres per hour. They live in the grasslands of southern and eastern Africa. Cheetahs have between two thousand and three thousand spots. They also have black lines near their eyes, known as "tears". These lines help them block the sun’s glare. Their long tail helps them keep balance when they run. A cheetah can live
