This happened at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany during a public track session (Touristenfahrten) in early July 2025. A Porsche 911 GT3 RS was overtaking a BMW M2 at high speed when they collided, sending both into the barriers—the Porsche caught fire and both cars were destroyed. Both drivers survived with no serious injuries.
