Patient is postoperative day one after laparoscopic appendectomy. Alert and oriented, vital signs stable. Temperature thirty‑seven point two, heart rate eighty‑eight, blood pressure one twenty‑four over seventy‑eight, oxygen saturation ninety‑eight percent on room air. Pain score four out of ten at the incision sites. Dressings clean, dry, and intact with no signs of infection. I V fluids running well. Patient passing flatus, no bowel movement yet. Mild nausea earlier resolved with ondansetron.
