I always thought my little brother talked in his sleep. Every night at 2 AM, I heard him whispering. One night he said my name. I opened his door. He was asleep, but the whispering came from the closet. I opened it. Nothing. When I turned back, he was sitting up, staring. “Why did you open it?” he asked. In a voice that wasn’t his, he said, “Now it knows you can see it.” The lights went out. The next morning my mom said, “You don’t have a brother.” 😨
