I’m a heavy period. I may mean soaking through pads or tampons quickly, or bleeding for many days. This can happen for different reasons—hormones, uterine changes, or underlying conditions. If I’m consistent, I can lower your iron levels over time. That may lead to fatigue or dizziness, and sometimes Iron Deficiency Anemia. Heavy bleeding is not something to ignore. Your body may be losing more than it should.
