I’m a heavy period. I may mean soaking through pads or tampons quickly, or bleeding for many days. This can happen for different reasons—hormones, uterine changes, or underlying conditions. If I’m consistent, I can lower your iron levels over time. That may lead to fatigue or dizziness, and sometimes Iron Deficiency Anemia. Heavy bleeding is not something to ignore.
