Lithium is the third element in periodic table and it has atomic number three and symbol li it belongs to alkali metal group and it is one of the lightest metals in the world it is soft silvery white and very reactive metal which can be cut with a knife and it reacts quickly with air and water so it is always stored in oil to keep it safe lithium is mainly found in minerals and salt lakes and it is extracted for industrial and technological use lithium plays a very important role in modern techn
