Working as a seafarer is a unique and challenging career. My day usually begins early in the morning when I go to the bridge for my watch. As an officer, my primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of the ship, the crew, and the cargo. I spent many hours checking the navigation charts and monitoring the radar to avoid any collisions with other vessels. It is essential to follow the COLREGs rules strictly to maintain order at sea. Besides navigation, I am also in charge of maintaining the
