In this paper I address two questions of translation which are interrelated: the proper translation of proskune/w and dista/zw in Matt 28:17. I interact in particular with the contemporary standard Swedish Bible Translation, Bibel 2000,1 but the discussion here is relevant to anyone who is interested in Matthew’s christology.
