Chapter 7 — The Book of a Thousand Pages The book of one thousand pages was of a wonderful sort. It identified Muslim strengths that had to be destroyed, and prescribed the methods for destroying them. The book identified Islam's true sources of strength that British policy had to undermine. Among them: Islam has negated racial, lingual, traditional, and national bigotry — giving Muslims a unity that transcended tribe and territory. Interest, profiteering, fornication, alcohol, and pork are fo
