I never saw my brother again after that night. His room stayed empty. No signs. No explanation. Nothing. But I couldn’t forget what I saw in that field. So I went back one last time. Same place. Same silence. But this time… something was different. The footprints were still there. Two sets. But now they were dragged. Like something had pulled them across the ground. Slowly. Deeper into the dark grass. I followed them. Even though every instinct told me not to. The field felt cold
