I didn’t answer. I didn’t move. Minutes passed. Or maybe seconds. I couldn’t tell anymore. Time felt… wrong. Then my phone buzzed. I looked down. It was a message. From myself. No contact name. Just my number. The message said: “Why are you in my room?” My entire body went cold. I slowly looked around. This was my room. Everything was exactly how I left it. But the message… Didn’t make sense. Another text came in. “I’m outside.” The knocking stopped. The footsteps were gon
