The impression internationally of Australia seems to be quite... Inaccurate. I constantly hear about how our animals are dangerous, how we're tough cunts and how it's crazy that we manage to survive here without guns. I heard one person on Reddit describe his image of Australia as a few mega cities surrounded by red desert. I had a Swedish friend when I was 11 who told me that her and her friends back home impression was similar. I think these images persist because of popular celebrities like S
