I once walked in on my girlfriend while she was with another guy. She looked shocked and said, “What are you doing here?!” I just stood there and replied, “You gave me a key, remember? I didn’t have to work today, so I thought I’d surprise you.” That was the end of that relationship. About 15 years later, she suddenly reached out and left me a message saying she wanted to talk.
