They sealed the pizza and left it for a few weeks. After that, the researchers checked whether it was still good. Then, they added salami on top, since it molds slower than pepperoni, and sprinkled extra salt and spices over it. Next, they vacuum-sealed it and put it inside a rocket marked with the Pizza Hut logo. It traveled hundreds of miles above Earth to the International Space Station, delivering the world’s first pizza in space.
