This animal… can run across water without sinking. Not for long. But long enough to escape. It’s the basilisk lizard. Nicknamed… the Jesus lizard. When danger hits— it doesn’t dive. It runs. Fast. Its feet slap the surface… creating tiny air pockets. For a split second… those pockets hold it up. Step by step… before gravity wins. Speed is everything. Too slow… and it sinks. Too fast… and it escapes. Even the young can do it. Born ready to run on water. So while predators
