It’s not that I’m unwilling to be generous, but I learned a tough lesson from one of my old acquaintances. He wasn’t a close friend, but he borrowed about a thousand yuan from me. He said it was a small amount and that he’d pay me back quickly via another app, especially since he claimed it was urgent. So, I thought,
