I couldn’t move. My eyes were locked on the closet. The door was slightly open now… even though I never touched it. Something inside… was breathing. Slow. Uneven. My phone slipped from my hand… but the call was still active. “Aanya?” I whispered. The voice from inside the closet replied… “Don’t look at it.” My heart started racing. Because I wasn’t looking at the closet anymore. I was looking at the window. And she was gone. No footsteps. No sound. Just… gone. For a second, I felt r
