A normal LEGO wall would never protect you from a grenade. The blast would tear it apart and still take you out. But if you stacked 2x4 LEGO bricks lengthwise, then added another layer turned the opposite direction, you would create a strong base. Keep repeating that pattern 125 more times, building higher and wider, and you would end up with a 6.5-foot-thick barrier made from more than 2 million bricks.
