He left Jerusalem — the holy city, the city of God — and he was heading to Jericho. A city known for commerce, for ordinary life. This was a man simply going about his day. Normal. Unsuspecting. Just trying to get from one place to another.
He had no idea what was waiting for him around the next bend.
